Old style Bachmann V2 chassis in use in both shots above, although I modified mine some time ago to include fixed rear side frames, a decent facing on the motion bracket, and cylinder drains. I believe we still await an image from Simon, or other contributor, to reveal just how different the new mounting arrangements have to be on the V2 body underside to suit the new Bachmann chassis.

I can already supply in resin both the deep (but not so long) Hornby style A3 dome and the shallow, longer Bachmann style A2/A1 dome seen in the above images.

Given time I'll try to do something in resin to represent the inboard parts of the running plates to close off the wheel tops, and a properly V2 style front chunk for the cropped body, but I have to go back to the W1 now, leaving the above three loco options open to ther trail-blazers for the time being.

Morgan has pointed me in the direction of a suitable web hosting facility that we might use, but I've not had time to do anything about it with all the current plate-spinning that I'm doing. I'm not sure that it is fair to expect Richard to allow me / us to exploit this website for such a purpose, and I have reservations about posting a list on here that could give my efforts to assist other model makers an "out and out commercial" appearance. I'll take decisions when my mind is a little more organised, but in the meantime I'll try to e-mail a reasonably up-to-date list to the two of you if that helps.

Just as a side note- there are plenty of image hosting websites out there that allow unlimited storage, usually in exchange for a limit on the size of the individual photos. I use photobucket which shrinks things rather brutally to 1mb, but many allow up to 5mb.

It's image hosting and all images can be put in folders / galleries. You can also post updates in journals. It's free but you have to put up with ads.

Personally speaking Graeme, I think you should start a modelling blog. Add in a Googe adsense account or similar and you can earn a bit of money from the advert/click market quite easily. Blogger is a fantastic site (or word press actually) and in blogger's case, they host all of your images for you.

That would allow you to hotlink your images here as well as giving you a central website from which to show your "how to" methods, and where to buy your components from. Just a thought.

All ideas gratefully received, even if I don't at present have a clue about how to set up a blog or website, nor indeed of how to find the time to do it. No doubt a solution will emerge. It has in fact already been very briefly discussed with my etching partner-in-crime.
