Re: Calming the (in)famous Yorkshire Wallet
Ay up!
Holliers delayed.
One of our two cats, Rosie, has had a blood blister on her ear for a bit. This gave her no trouble until yesterday when it burst. Blood all over Rosie and our bed. OK, the bed can be changed. Rosie, after a trip to the V-E-T has had to wear a lampshade thingy until she has an op on Monday.
This makes it hard for her to eat and impossible to wash. And Rosie is a fastidious little girl when it comes to personal hygiene.
Wallet is worried. A repair job put £60 in it last night. Such riches! How long before I remove it?

Wallet's just had a kicking again today - this time for car parts. Brake rebuild on the cards for Fifi.

Ay up!
I have been reported to SOPCYW (the Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Yorkshire Wallets) today. I am now one Britannia loco kit (thanks, Autocar!) and one Triang LMS 2P, mint & boxed from CashConverters here in Dewsbury. £60 for the kit, £30 for the Triang - bargains!
Wallet is looking very pale indeed......
Now what else can I get while it ain't looking?

Ay up, AC!
Yes, I noticed you shudder upon meeting Wallet. Still, I managed to extract £60 from it and ONLY got trimmed fingernails for my trouble!
As for chips wi' bits - I'm getting ahead of the game!

Ay up!
I heard today from the Boss that payment may be late this month.
The Wallet escaped from my pocket.
The Boss starts counselling tomorrow. He's being sewn back togather tonight!
The Wallet is growling to itself in the corner. And gnashing its teeth.....

Ay up, MSE!
There's a possibility. Parachute it into the Afgham hills and watch the rebels come running out.
Hang on - I'm sure that's against the Geneva Convention!
