Tables are now dry and just need a bit of paint to finish. I think the cloths came out ok.

This is 00, right? The level of detail is quite something.

I'm also drawn to the commemorative, let's hope Bachmann will produce 6165 Valour.

Outstanding work.

Manxman - yes it's 00.
BB - Stop it now, this modeller is not for turning....no knives and forks
Bloody hell ....... roast dinners what more will you all want....people ?.
Mike - I had a word with my beloved regarding the poor ironing...you don't want to hear what she said...
While doing some Blackout style internet surfing (sorry Blackout) I came across a interior pic of a 1930's LNER restaurant car which shows all the table ware etc, and after saying earlier I did not think the LNER had flowers.....there they were...and NO before you all start.

Turn the screen off and surf blind!
Re: Daves C & W Works
Probably wise or there would be great debate of which type of flower and whether it would limit you to a particular season.Dave wrote:and after saying earlier I did not think the LNER had flowers.....there they were...and NO before you all start.
Are you able to give a url to the picture?

Mike - the pic was on the Science Museum site, I will send it to you.
Blackout...thats when you said you were looking at somthing and ended up looking at underware..a few pages back.
Here are some pics of the first seat group...I think I will slim the base pad down a bit, but I don't think you will see any of it.

Re: Daves C & W Works
Good evening,
I don't think I've ever seen such a pristine work surface. How do you produce such models without hacking lumps out and sticking gloop on?
In awe.
Regards,
Vernon
