What time did you take the shot of Britannia with the MK1's? The guy hanging out of the first carriage window is quite likely to be me. I was holding my camera really far out.

The shot of 70000 leaving Goathland (1st image) was taken on the 10:30 ex Grosmont, then the shot of 70000 at Esk Valley (2nd image) was on the 14:30 ex Grosmont. It certainly sounded great heading up the bank, you must have had an enjoyable trip =]

That's definitely me in the second image hanging out the window then :D - Best ride of the day, and I still haven't got all the soot out of my hair

It was amazing how many hundreds of people were on the lineside and in fields for Britannia passing by. On my trips behind 60007 and 92214 there was barely anyone.

EDIT: I caught 60007 from Pickering to Grosmont, then 92214 from Grosmont to Goathland. Ditched mum and dad at Goathland and caught Britannia back to Grosmont (had a day rover ticket). Then I caught Britannia to Pickering, with mum and dad getting back on at Goathland. I managed to get up in 60007's and 70000's cabs too :D
