NER INSPECTION SALOON

Post by mick b »

Hi
Has anyone got any pictures of the 6 wheel NER Inspection Saloon No 41 in particular the interior of this one or any others which are similar. This is for a future model I have to build.
Thanks Mick

still need info?

I dont' have anything on the interior of the NER inspectors saloon, but i have detail on the interior of GCR/ MSLR saloons of a similar period. Generally you will be able to work out the interior from the placement of the external panelling, but i can email you a pic of the GCR interior layout to get a feel for things. Generally we are talking large leather armchairs for the directors, a big meeting table, and various toilet/galley compartments. Very similar infact to captain's areas of contemporary steam ships. (i.e- fixed furniture, captains chairs (the ones that swivel) lips on tables, space saving fold down chairs, etc etc)

no probs. Wouldnt have been much help anyway.

Your collection is superb. Very prototypical. And weathered nicely too!
