Dapol teaks and B17

Post by smudger »

Just read the Dapol site where they announced a B17 and Gresley teaks for 2008.

:-)

Also boxed sets of B17s with Gresleys, although I'm not sure if these are for collectors club members only.

Also, there's nothing on the Dapol website, but Blue Spots have been with retailers for about a week+ now.

Hi guys

I am trying to clarify with Dapol as to whether the teaks are only available in sets or if they will be sold separately Will let you know when I get an answer from Dave at Dapol.

teaks an B&C coaches

Post by TonyM »

Hi guys
I have heard back from Dave at Dapol. The teaks and B&C coaches are only going to be sold in `book sets` with the B17 initially to see how they go. If sales justify they will then release more coaches individually. So good but could be better.

So if we want a rake, we have to buy 3-4 B17s...

Yes it looks that way but I could use 2 B17s as long as they are dfiferent names.
I have asked if Dapol would supply locos unnamed and unnumbered but painted and lined.
We shall have to wait and see.
I think if enough of us email Dapol with requests or even pre-order we might have some luck as Dave Jones is very approachable and responsive.
