Does anyone on here model the Irish Narrow Gauge?
Hi interested in the area served by 52D. also researching colliery wagonways from same area.

Ay up!
The Irish NG is the end of NG that has some attraction for me. Poxy little 0-4-0s pulling decrepit 4 wheel coaches up a decrepit line with station names like Pen-y-Bun just leave me cold. Such was NG modelling in my youth. And they never ran!

The reason i posted is a workmate has decided to model one of the prototypes and is lookng for brains to pick. He has bought one of the Worsley aids to scratch building type kits.

Colourpoint publish a number of books on this, they have a new one out recently, though can't remember the title...
I think Peco also published a book or two by (I think) David Lloyd? IIRC, he died (early) but did model Irish NG and wrote prolifically about it too.
