Help needed please with some Mallard 1980's railtours

Morning All

I have added 2 collections of photos featuring Mallard on its return to steam in the 1980’s, does anyone now the dates of the tours shown

Tour #1 passing site of Hillhouse shed Huddersfield cannot make out the headboard

Ay up!

The headboard passing Hillhouse reads "RCTS Diamond Jubilee 1928-1988." All of Mallard's tours were run in 1988 because Scarborough Council contributed to the overhaul were most displeased when they learned that only a 12 month "ticket" was being booked....

Be nice to see her running for the 75th. Never happen of course - the NRM are unable to tell the difference between a steam locomotive and a classic car.....

Here are two images of 4468 MALLARD departing northbound from Princes Risborough @ 1225 hours on the 25 October 1986. Hauling the "Shakespear Limited".

It was a good day for Gresley fans as two A4's and the A3 appeared. Sir Nigel Gresley, Mallard and the Flying Scotsman.

Nice piccies. Shame my "forgettery" (that's what I have in place of a memory! :lol: ) got the dates wrong.... :oops:

Tis a shame 4468 didn't dissapear into the works last Spring.......

A correction to the dates on my last set of Mallard pictures at Princes Risborough, the date is the 12th October 1986 and not the 25th.
