All this talk of Pukka Pies has me dribbling into my keyboard. Canada, as our friend Owd Sweedy can probably attest, is a complete pie wasteland. Well, it is out here in the west. I'd brave walking across a minefield of snapping Yorkshire wallets to sink my teeth into a Pukka right now. Was this the thought behind 60809's name, I wonder?

I even wrote an impassioned letter to Pukka Pies headquarters to start exporting here - they do export to many other countries farther afield than this.

All together now, "I'd walk a million miles for one of your pies, my Pukka."

V2s were one of Mr Hitler's creations during WW2. They were basically a rocket containing 1000kg of explosives and were fired from Germany to various allied targets, mainly in the southeast of England.

I know plenty about Mr Von Braun's liquid fuelled rockets and the subsequent US tests that concluded with the Saturn V, but... I forgot about them, considering we were on about Gresley's V2
