An amazing train

Post by hq1hitchin »

Take your pick as the where you would have wanted to ride, the rear two bug boxes not my first preference!

A topper is proper if the train's a non-stopper!

Now that's what I call a stock movement!

The best we ever get is three or four class 66's slowly rumbling past :(

Yes: E94 192, 103 136, 44 2546, 01 2066, 52 8168, 41 1150, 50 0072, S3/6 3673, 364 569, V100 1365, 75 1118 , VT 795 according to the list, on their way from the Märklin Railway Days back to the Railway Museum in Nördlingen last August.

By coincidence, on my way home from work tonight I saw 7 red Swiss electrics coupled together on their way to the Pratteln marshalling yard, presumably from the shed just outside Basel SBB (Swiss) station. The most I've ever seen moving!

I bet that would set you back a few quid.

I have seen them go for £400 on Ebay, although that might just be a case of Ebay lunacy that overtakes rival bidders every now and then.
