The East Lancashire Railway during their Winter Steam Gala on the 21st January 2012 and the early morning freight charter.

Appearing at the event was 850, 49395, 71000, 44871, 45231, 45407 & 80080.

Would I be correct in saying that 71000 has been repainted during the winter overhaul?

Yes, I believe so... I'm sure I read somewhere it was hand painted and put into the correct shade of green??

Love the sequence of 45407 on the mixed maroon / blue and grey stock. Shades of '68 or what?
