If you are nifty on the pause button there's a nice shot of the shape and the rivet detail of an A4 cab roof aft of the main ventilators in that video - original rubber fairing across to tender in place too.

manna, If the first aerial shot you mention is the bit behind the opening titles, I wouldn't like to say ; - a bit too 'close-up' for my liking - not much of a meaningfully wider view.

That St.Neots building looks like it could be granary?
Thanks to studying that, I've noticed a gable-roofed white-looking building top left in the last fraction of timeline 0.44 before the scene changes, which looks like it could be the (possibly closed by that time) old North signal box.

Definitely Stevenage. That 'structure' at the far end of the down platform is the giveaway. I think it was a parcels shed of sorts, and I can't recall another one like it anywhere.

Thanks giner. Never did know that station, but I know exactly where it was.
I'd say the overbridge in the background fits as well ; the equivalent at Biggleswade would probably have looked to be further away.

That bridge to the south of the station is Bridge Road. On the down side, snuggled up against it, was Stevenage South box. On the up side at that point was/is a marvellous vantage point, 150 yds. of footpath at just above cab roof height. Looking on Google Maps it's hard to believe how much it's changed. Still, I suppose you can say that about anywhere. I don't even know that there are too many good vantage points left now, what with all the Stalag fencing in place.

I 'got' the streamliners and pacifics in general at Scunthorpe station in about 2006. The first time I saw an A4 in steam
60009 came in on platform 2 for her momentary pause to collect passengers, tooted her whistle and started to move off. The cylinder cocks were at it, almost deafening everyone, 60009 was slipping and and the blast as she went under station bridge was amazing

Since that I've seen the A4's at the NYMR in 2008 and saw a few black fives last year at the NYMR and passing Keadby bridge. I'm looking forward to seeing 70013 on the Tynesider as she swoops round Crowle (eastern side leading from Keadby) bank on March 10th

Does anyone have approximate dates on when 60007 and 60009 will be back?
