Found the following it has plenty of LNER and constituent segments worth a watch to study various locos not normally seen on film. Its about an hour long and has film from the NER Hull Paragon crash to the wreck of DP2 at Thirsk.

Though none of this compilation is funny, I did stifle a laugh when the voice of the interviewer, in very clipped BBC English tones, asked a rescuer of a female victim that he had helped, "if she was very brave?"
There was also a scene of a loco being hauled away with part of the roof of a carriage resting on, crashing to the ground with a man in the usual raincoat and cigarette standing nonchalantly just a few feet away.
One of the viewers on youtube also remarked that 'elfansafety' just didn't exist - they just got on with it!

Yes Ron, you're right - it appears to have gone
A topper is proper if the train's a non-stopper!
