If I ain't here, I'm in Bilston, scoffing decent chips at last!!!!
Re: LNER Models
Looking superb there Mick. Just goes to show how wonderfully "bashable" the Bachmann model is. Graeme's kit has really brought to life the modelling of these oft under appreciated Pacifics.

Re: LNER Models
Mick, you have a habit of making my day!
I have just returned from a wallet-numbing experience replacing 2 tyres on my wife's car, less than a week after changing 3 on my son's!
Totally cheered up now at the sight of Lord President - ABSOLUTELY AWESOME! THANK YOU!

Re: LNER Models
Has anybody sent for Mr Thompson to come down from the office to be first to "officially see" his latest engine? You don't want to upset him now do you, you know he can be a bit bristly at times......
Nicely finished off, as alaways Mick.

Re: LNER Models
Absolutely stunning work Mick. Does sort of confirm my feeling that the locomotives look their best in LNER apple green.
How did you find the build the second time around?
I've worked out I can have Lord President and Cock O' The North in 1949/50 in and around Leeds, but not Wolf of Badenoch, so I suspect I will be reading back through this thread quite a bit over the next few months!
Many thanks for keeping us in the loop with your locos.

As always, you are too modest. They're crackers! Might even make ET smile.....

Lord President has arrived!
All I can say is that I thought she looked good in the pictures - that's nothing to how good she looks in the flesh - stunning job thanks Mick!
