More locations to identify

Post by jwealleans »

Something to do over Christmas... irishswissernie has posted links to a large number of photos on his flickr site for which he has no location and asked for help.

The Eastern Region set is here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/irishswiss ... 8400760173. You can find the others from there, I expect.

Thanks for spotting this!

There are 'Unknown Locations" collections for the various regions; the Scottish one also includes ex LNER images. You can put a comment on if you have a flickr account. If not you can put any ideas on this thread and I will pick it up.

Something to do over Christmas when you need a respite from relatives, food , drink and the TV!

I've been a busy boy and up-loaded approx 1500 images over Christmas to Flickr.
There are a fair number of LNER subjects but a collection which may appeal is a set of aerial images from 1929 covering Tyneside and SE Northumberland. Locations include pits, shipyards, cokeworks as well as Newcastle Central station, Manors, Blaydon and St Peters stations.
Link below.
