A3 Banjo Domes

Post by DD_Fenrir »

Hello chaps,

All photos I've seen of pre-war A3 classes show them sans banjo domes. Is this a general case? If so, when do we see them coming in? Also they seem to be positioned further aft than the conventional dome, or am i seeing things?

Regards,

Tom

It might be worth looking at Atlantic 3279s 100 page thread in the modelling section he must have covered every different variant by now.
Hi interested in the area served by 52D. also researching colliery wagonways from same area.

Ay up!

They all ended up with Banjo domes but most of them had "streamlined" casings. As to when? That I cannot help you with. Sorry.
If I ain't here, I'm in Bilston, scoffing decent chips at last!!!!
