Hi Trev

That is one of my standing 'digs' at Yorkshiremen - BB's been the target before!

This real southerner was born less than a mile from Tyne Dock station, and shed.

This poster was born almost too far North but thankfully 2 miles short of the Border with Scotland almost in the shadows of the Royal Border Bridge and across the water from his username.
Hi interested in the area served by 52D. also researching colliery wagonways from same area.

A fella walks inta his doctors and says "Doctor ya gotta help me my old flower cos i feel a failure?"

So the doctor says "Wot does thee mean thee feels a failure?" He wos a Yorkshire doctor

So the fella says "Well i left school at 15 and i had good grades so thee got inta University where i studied English Law and became a top lawyer earning £100.000 a year. I invested all my money inta property where i amassed a personal fortune of 25 million!!! BUT i still feel a failure my old flower :(

So the doctor says "How can thee call thee self a failure?" :?

So the fella says "Well, i really wanted to become a dustman!!"

Ay up!

Why's a 20p shaped like it is?

So you can get a spanner on it and get change out of a Yorkshireman!

Hi BB

It will take more than a spanner to get cash out of a Yorkshireman - it normally takes explosives!!!

Just thought - have you tried hitting your wallet with the hammer

Ay up!

I tried a hammer. It were orrible!

A mallet worked briefly. I think the wallet was stunned. The only thing known to tame a Yorkshire wallet is my Black Cou :ntry wench.

Mind you, there's never owt in it when I get it back!

Mrs BB - that's 'cos its empty when I get it!!

I'm no fool - despite the rumours

BNAG - thats bang out of order!

Couple of years ago, I had a suit made and when it was ready I tried it on at the tailors.
I found that all the pockets were stitched up. I said to the tailor " How did you know I was a Yorkshireman?" He said that they always stitch the pockets to keep the flaps smooth when it's ready to carry away. I can un-stitch them now for you if you want.
No I replied I'm from the East Riding, leave 'em be.
