London Rd J21

Post by Frazmataz »

If anyone has built, or know someone who has built, the J21 kit from London Road Models, can they please tell me what gearbox, motor and wheels are required? The London Road website unfortunately doesn't display this kind of information about its kits, and it doesn't seem to have a convinient costumer service line either :?

Bass,

I have built the similar George Norton J25. If I was building it again I would get a Branchlines motor and gear box that they would specify to me as they have all the loco drawings and know what from their range fits what kit . I am very pleased with the parts they supplied for my D49 and WD. In my opinion you need a flywheel to match the smooth running that we expect from Hornby and Bachman.

Branchlines can be contacted on 01392 437755

or you could try to e-mail: sales@branchlines.com (according to the SEMG)
