I have just realized I have in fact got two of these! One early crest, one late crest. Mix and match!
Re: 60502 Earl Marischal's tender
Dont forget you need a curved edge A3 Cab to match if you do a A2/2 Earl M
Re: 60502 Earl Marischal's tender
I'm thinking A2/2 60506 in BR dark green currently, though this picture of 60501 has piqued my interest - is this an A3 tender it is coupled to?mick b wrote:Dont forget you need a curved edge A3 Cab to match if you do a A2/2 Earl M
Re: 60502 Earl Marischal's tender
Yes its the one used by the A3 as well as the A2/2 as confirmed earlier
All of the A2/2's retained their tenders albeit of two different types Beaded and Streamlined Non Corridor designs till scrapping.
Ypu must get the RCTS volume its a mine of info

Re: 60502 Earl Marischal's tender
Wasn't 2001/60501's tender of all-welded rather than riveted construction?
Re: 60502 Earl Marischal's tender
Yes no obvious difference
