Flower of Gloster
Anyone remember this children's & teenager's television series from late 1967 about a converted narrowboat journey from North Wales down to London?.

Re: Flower of Gloster
I like that spelling Gloster instead of Gloucester. It has a good ring to it and of course you didnt get Gloucester Javelins or Meteors.
Hi interested in the area served by 52D. also researching colliery wagonways from same area.

Micky,
Yes, I remember the program seem to remember watching all the episodes shown betwix 5 and 6, can't remember whether they were one hour or half. We would watch then waiting in vain for "Railway Roundabout" to reappear.

I think it was shown around 5:10-5:15pm and ran for about 25 minutes before the early evening news?.

There was a nice looking 'bird' (1960s lingo) of around 19 or 20 years old(?) who was in the series called Elizabeth Doherty I never saw her in anything else after this series?.
