We seem to have been stuck at THE cross for a couple of days - not a bad idea, really. While we're in the general area, though, I think I'll pop over and see my brother in GOODGE STREET.

I think Hatton Cross would be far too expensive and my bank manager would be gunning for me, so it will have to be
Cannon Street

Geneva Protocol be bu****ed im interested in the rules commitees long and nauseous debate wether the Croydon Tramway systems stations and also the stations of the Docklands Light Railway may be brought into open play instead of being used if all playing parties agree.

Re: Subterranean Subterfuge - Round the 2nd
Well I'm not! I've played "White City" once already this round as a result of nausea and fully intend to claim Rogers' Repetative Ruling on that one. And whenever Docklands is mentioned, I am reminded of Canary Wharf, which is an unpleasant reminder of Mr Murdoch's empire, so I would claim Rodgers' again - except of course I'm not allowed to as I've already played it... [sic]
A predictable move, but in an attempt to break out of the spin and avoid going round in circles, whilst playing 'fair', I have little choice but to play - Oval

Re: Subterranean Subterfuge - Round the 2nd
Funny thing, but I said to my wife, "O Val," there's a chap on the forum talking about you. Then she said something about grown men clad in clown suits playing some ridiculous game bashing a ball with a big stick. "Cricket," said I. "Stick it," said she. Ah, married bliss. Anyway, seeing that blasted Geneva Protocol cropping up again I have once more been instructed by that W5 boffin to yet again appease the wife and mention her old neck (of the woods, I hasten to add), so have no other option but to, as we say in the trade, 'leg' it to RAYNERS LANE.
Re: Subterranean Subterfuge - Round the 2nd
The oval? Twas a bright and hazy day that I sat upon that gorund watching wistfully as my ador ed Surrey fought for relagation (i did mean that, you would understand if you were there). But Rayners Lane, no no my dear boy you need to take a Leg Break, consult your swing and don't get your heart broken 'tis Warwick Avenue (might I reccomend the Windsor Castle for light bites and a refreshing Ale whilst we consult the guide for our next move).
Thank you
Simon

Warwick Avenue? Methinks you might be listening a little too much to Adele. For your musical bent, you might try and trip over to Abbey Road. ST. JOHN'S WOOD will do you nicely.

Isn't that just another name for Elm Park?
