Nice selection of the B1. I had to go all the way to the North Norfolk (a long way from Southampton) for their Spring Gala 2009 to get my first shots of Mayflower, plus several other locos. Didn't help, coming home on the Sunday getting every type of weather, except heatwave.

Still, it was worth it.

Hi Trev

You appear to have had a very sucessful day. I haven't been to Market Bosworth - perhaps I should make the effort. Generally I stick south of Birmingham, partly distance from the south coast, and partly trying to 'do' West Somerset, Didcot, Bluebell, Swanage, Mid-Hants plus very occasionally South Devon and, maybe once every couple of years Severn Valley. Doesn't help only having 2 consecutive days off work once in 6 weeks!!
Either way, keep up the good work!!
