Re: LNER Models
I must say that this thread has inspired me, I have dug out all my LNER locos and coaches/wagons and even bought a Parkside kit to get on with.
Thanks very much for sharing these.

Roof vents on the D10C Diner are interesting. I couldn't work out what was meant when someone told me the side views didnt tell the whole story. I can now! Thanks.
Re: LNER Models
Now Teaked and lined on one side which is now drying. Sitting loose on its repainted and narrowed chassis.

Re: LNER Models
You've pushed on at a fair pace with that coach Mick. The teak and the lining look good, as does the construction. What lining technique have you used - pen?

Re: LNER Models
Got this one of Ebay after seeing the prices of the latest versions for a good price.
I will be converting it to a LNER O4/3 version to go with the ROD tender. Some work already done today , Loco and tender seperated as per Graeme Kings thread posts . 3 link couplings added smokebox plate removed and moulding lines on boiler and chimney removed. I have removed the awful Coal casting on the tender and added Lead inside the Tender body of the same weight.
I am struggling to find some decent pictures and a Loco number for a O4/3 based in the NE region pre war. Can anyone assist re this please ?
Yes I know the the front bogie is derailed
