Am I the only one to have noticed that (but for the lack of lining) the Dutch built camper van in the current "Oz and Hugh raise the bar" TV series is in LNER livery?
Next episode Boxing Day 7pm I believe, if you want to see for yourself.

Yes I noticed that aswell. Also Hugh described it as a 'railway carriage on wheels'. The livery does look almost deliberate LNER green and varnished teak.

I think if it was mine I would line out the cab, polish the splashers brass, and paint the rear green/cream tourist colours...

Re: Oz and Hugh's LNER camper van
Back in the 1970s Fred Newman (who was well known for building 7mm coaches) built several sets of LNER coaches for Colonel Ronnie Hoare (RJH) who was at that time the UK Ferrari concessionaire. Fred, who was a bit of a wag, said he would be happy to take payment with a varnished teak Ferrari with a white roof. Ronnie kidded him that he thought he was being serious, and that one had been ordered from Italy. Fred was a very worried man for some weeks thereafter! So the idea is not unique!

It is good to know that I may not be the only nutcase on here.
Please don't take me seriously.
