Kings Cross train Crew Seniority List

Hi Jim, the footplate seniority list was always posted prominently in the signing on lobby and I guess 40 odd years ago most of us had a good idea of everyones seniority date. I obviously know my own (01-01-62) and George Elliot was a 1940 man but details escape me. I do believe however that the public records office at Kew holds employees records of the old GNR/LNER right up to the 1960/70's. I have never seen these records so I don't know what details they contain, but it might be worth a visit.
