Brian Austin. Fireman

Post by book law »

Hey guys. I thought i'd post my grandad here

He used to be a fireman during the 60's. He's worked on a lot of LNER loco's (But sometimes he'd be on a Black Five)

He's been on the footplate of 60007, he's been on the footplate of a few A3's (Though he doesn't remember which ones)
He also used to be a fireman on the B1's

Just thought i'd share that with you :)

Hi Book Law, there was a Brian Austin firing at King's Cross Top Shed when I was there, although we never had Black Fives on shed so it's unlikely that he would have worked on one if this is the Brian Austin I can remember. I guess he would be in his mid sixties by now.
