NRM Headboards

Headboards have appeared on several NRM Locos, the only odd one is Evening Star which is about a platform 4 Theatre play on all change in the 60's.

Thats a great shot of evening star. She looks almost majestic sitting there and as though at a moment ready to return to steam. Not that it is very likely and such a young loco, the youngest in the collection (?). I don't think i have really thought of the removal of steam as such a tragedy until right now.

God i'm getting old and sentimental

They've all gone again, with the exception of Evening Star's

Cheers for the pics, haven't been to the NRM in ages - do you have any more photos of your visit? Interesting to see the LMS Diesel shunter next to the midland compound, don't think i've ever seen that before

I live here, and the NRM is my second home EG. Food, Drink, toilets...oh and free!

Oh right, that's handy then! Anything North Eastern Railway really, and a couple of general views now that everything seems to have been moved around there (must have been at least three years since I was last year)
