I'm a Gresley - or is it an Ivatt update ?
I know it's daft and I dunno whether I'm saying this in the right place - but I've just seen that I've become an 'N2' - couldn't be more pleased !
G'nite.

I'm an L1 which is nice, because I am waiting for the 00 version to be produced so that I can buy a few.
Nurse! More medication, please.

You want to keep well clear of those Cement Mixers. Nasty noisy things.

I've been transferred to Scotland but can't get used to firing those pesky D40 4-4-0s. What next, a D11? Anyone got a promotion card?

booklaw: Triplicates sorted. Was away in Georgia for a long weekend, so I'm only just catching up on email, threads, customers, etc.
Didn't get to see any rail in Georgia, although I did get to see the (Atlanta) Braves beat the (Los Angeles) Dodgers in style. And not a Mexican Wave in sight - unlike a typical Texas Rangers game.

Might this not depend on whether you can consume your own smoke? I think we should be told.book law wrote:Whilst on subject im and N2 0-6-2

As for me, I'd like to know whether I've been preserved for the nation.

I've just made it to a L1, the only loco in steam that I ever cabbed. If I remember rightly at Wakefield, waiting to take the Bradford portion of a London train. Choice of 67747, 67756, 67757, 67761 and 67795 as those were the only ones I ever spotted. You would think that I would have made a note, but it appears I did not,
