Inside buildings are wheat bulbs , Yard Lamps are led's with resistors with plastikard columns

Hi Mick,

I have finally checked the Silver Jubilee coach Wheels. You are right in that they were painted darker grey than what the drawing indicates. A photo I found shows that they are darker.

I will now have to paint them darker grey. At least the silver grey will act as a undercoat.

I like the new photos of your layout and your J39 and D20 look good too.

D20 in first coat of primer to show any places needing further filling/cleaning up

Replacement 3940 gallontender for the D20 from Alexander Models I have added a 52F Models compensated chassis to this as the kit has no brakegear . Plus Vacumn pipes etc

Bachmann J72 with added 52F lamp irons and new handrails . Numbers and letters redone with HMRS pressfix

Lastly I am using a Dave Bradwell etch to upgrade these so far moulded handrail removed

D20 nothing fixed down on the loco in picture . i have since attached roof and awaits lining , numbers and lettering.

That cab is outstanding, Mick. Are the brass splasher trims just painted on? They're very neat as well.

Splashers are from Bill Bedford as a Brass etching accesory. I had to wait a long time to get them ,hopefully he has them in stock if anyone else needs them. They come in a etch containig various radius. They are much easier than painting, which never look right no matter how well painted

A couple on my layout. Does anyone know what resolution size to use to get the pictures to show at the normal size ??
