Bridlington Station

Post by leonr2z »

Hi, I'm modelling Bridlington for the period 1945-1960 and would be grateful for any information on trains that were seen there during this period. I'm looking for the more exotic types (everyday locos seem to be B1's, B16's, D11's, D20's, D49's, K3's etc) that would have been on some of the excursion specials.

I have about 50 photographs from the period, however I am short of photo's showing the station buildings on Platforms 1-4, and also the buildings surrounding the station (goods shed and yard, engine shed etc.), so if anyone has any they can pass on to me I would be most grateful.

Hi

Jubilee's seem to have visited during the 1960's. I believe the Marsden Rail Hull Area video shows these working up to Brid.
