If anyone has any pics of small unsung LNER locos such as the 0-4-2s or 0-4-0s please upload them here. Nothing bigger than an 0-6-0T please.

I photographed this little beauty in 1963 at the old Clapham Transport Museum, long since closed. GER 87 - was it the Liverpool Street pilot known in BR days as 68619? And where is it now please.

It was last time I was there (3-4 years ago now). Wonderful paint job, but in a darker corner and being ignored by most of the visitors.

Surely the little GER tank wants to be given its freedom what a pairing with the J72 its a shame its stuffed and mounted.

Has anyone got a pic of a genuine preserved J94 not an austerity imposting as one. Is that coach behind the J72 a directors saloon?

Sorry, can't help with the coach id. If it is any help, the shot was taken at Green End, NYMR in 1991. Could it have been borrowed from the KWVR? It would be interesting to know more about it.

Just before Christmas it was on one of the turntable roads by the doors, so quite well lit and prominent.

Yes FF its straight out of Thomas that loco, i like them and have seen quite a few industrial ones as well as this one.
Take the missus to the White Rose Centre and disappear down to the Middleton. Although the two ex LNER locos are currently out of ticket there is a good selection of Leeds built locos and locos with Yorkshire connections on display i think they steam on Sundays and run diesels on Saturday check website for details it will be closer to you than the Worth Valley and well worth a visit and ride.

Thanks for that,i've never really thought about the Middleton,although it is my nearest preserved railway..I will give it a go one day!!Had a job interview in Pontefract yesterday and it went well-fingers crossed!!

Im in Sheffield so its only a quick blast up the motorway for me, been four times and enjoyed it in a different way each time. The small museum is good as well. Incidentally have you heard of a narrow gauge real steam line in one of the parks in Leeds i went years ago and seem to recall it being off the Leeds ring road. 15 inch gauge if i remember correct.
