I take my hat off to you sir, you are indeed correct though I do believe she was shedded at 52B Heaton near Wallsend (hence Vallum's end) in fairness I would think the shed code did change over the BR years and as I don't have my books at work I cannot easily check.

Class J36, 0-6-0 number 65226, named after Earl "Haig"
Twenty five were sent overseas during the first world war and were named commemoratively after battles such as the Somme and Ypres etc. etc.

And for a coincidence, I added the J36 names yesterday...

(iirc, there were two "Haig" - the second was an unofficial renaming in BR days after the first had been withdrawn)

I think Pan was from Arcadia not sure of any locos with that name though. Although there was a Pulman Car of that name.
