61070 pointed me in the direction of this photo.
The only problem is Where is it?
As can be seen it is copied off the Imech site but I have requested a copy.
It appears to show 1 of the 3 ploughs built at York in 1909.
As such it is possible it may be mine No 18, the scrapped No 19 or Beamish's No 20
Finding a location will enable a further tightening up of the ID.
Thanks in anticipation.

Due to the fact I have a similar photo I would say (out on a limb here) Darlington, circa 1936.Bryan wrote:61070 pointed me in the direction of this photo.

The world is seldom what we wish it to be, but wishes don't change it.

Nearly right.Due to the fact I have a similar photo I would say (out on a limb here) Darlington, circa 1936.

Date on the Imech site page says 1933.
I have asked them as well if they have any more detail.
However I think Darlington is likely to be wrong, unless part of a transit move.
Ploughs 2, 6, 15 and 16 were allocated at the time.
18 + 20 were at Shildon with 19 at Tweedmouth.
The steps, axle box doors and cab doors are wrong for any other plough except 18, 19 + 20
I thought maybe someone from the signalling side may be able to ID the location.
