This looks to be modern era? Ie. the North East area rather than the NER and its predecessors?

Yes modern but also there are a couple of sections that are for preservation/steam
and also Railtours and galas yet again that can also be for steam

Its a forum that is open to everyone Diesel/steam/electric you name it
All are welcome
