This is for all the Grandad's out there in the Forum who have Grandson's who are keen enthusiasts of the Guillane Thomas The Tank range of trains and carriages. The locos are battery operated or can be pushed when the battery gives up the ghost. They operate on blue plastic track and there is an excellent range of accessories. Its a great way to get youngsters interested in railways.
Unfortunately the white plastic couplings are not very substantial and some are starting to break(my three year old Grandson is not particularly careful when uncoupling and the problem is further compounded when his one year old brother wants to join in) making the rolling stock unusable. I am sure some of your Grandson's are experiencing the same problems. I have emailed Guillane without any response so can anyone please help regarding a suppiler of spares-it is a very simple job to fit them.
Thanking you in anticipation

Re: Plastic couplings
Ordered 12 pairs of couplings(in anticipation of future problems!!) on Monday afternoon and they arrived Wednesday morning which is very impressive considering the current state of the postal service.I have had post delivered every day in Haslemere since the strikes started showing the disruption is not 100% supported.
Thanks again Redtoon1892
