Milepost colours

Post by Bryan »

Can anyone tell me what should be the colour for a milepost on the line between Sheffield and Barnsley?
NER was Black lettering on white background.
However I have a feeling it may be Black on yellow, can anyone confirm?

Route via Meadowhall, Chapeltown, Elsecar and Barnsley.
I believe it may be the ex midland line.
Thanks
