Don't know if it is still open but the "Globe Inn" at Keighley used to have the best window seat in the country.

Looking straight out at the engines climbing out of the station.

The curve out of Keighley has been a site for photographers since cameras could take pictures faster than 1/15....

This was from the Gala this June - shame about the weather...

This is a reverse angle shot from another day...

At the risk of appearing to publicise 'the Opposition' Halsgrove do a h/b photo album of the line by Mike Heath - several interesting ideas and possible vantage points. I felt it was a better book than the one he did of Embsay and Bolton Abbey, but then as the author and photographic contributor of the latter's passenger guide, I'm not exactly unbiased...

Keighley, Ingrow and Oxenhope all have possibilities, Damems is very tight and unless you have a good wide angle lens, forget it. Oakworth Bank can be good in ideal conditions, but you need good light and a good lens. Parking can be tricky on gala days - maybe best to take the train and then walk off some of that beer?

With 179 beers on offer, I would say that's rather unlikely!
