247 Developments

Post by badwolf »

Has anyone had problems with this company, I orderd two sets of nameplates but they didn`t arrive.
I contacted them by phone and eventually got an answer , the guy said he had sent them to the wrong address and would send out some more.
I still have received nothing since and I had to order the plates from someone reliable ( Fox ) needless to say I won`t be ordering anything else from 247 .

Although I'm a real moaner about dishonest or incompetent suppliers I'm surprised to hear of your problem. The new man in charge at 247 is, if I remember his name correctly, Gary Wells, and he seems very helpful and has dealt with my limited needs efficiently. I'd hope that a further good natured phone call or e-mail to explain the continuing problem would be all that's needed to sort things out. Perhaps you'll let us all know how you get on if you give it another try?

Mmmmmm a strange experience with 247.
Send order get some parts with comment one item out of stock. Months later I order some more parts arrives with a further one part missing. Both times delievery was good.
Numerous emails later a reply is finally recieved which tells me the original part is in stock can I send my address again. Address sent two months ago again nothing, further emails again all ignored.

Perhaps this thread will kickstart him as will be sending him the link :?: :?: :?:

I just don`t think I will bother anymore, it was only a tenner, the service from Modelmaster or Fox is much better and you know that the stuff will turn up for sure.

Hi
A response !! second item will be sent today , not sure if he is sending orignal out of stock item from April at mo :?: :?: :!: :!: as not mentioned
He states the missing item has been sent to someone else twice!! I will update in due course. Hopefully I will recieve them as the quality is good.
I suggest Badwolf you chase again and ask for a refund ,the items I am missing are only of similar value but that is irelevant.

The "sent to the wrong address" problem seems to be a recurrent one here. I hope this snapshot isn't representative of normal activity, otherwise he'll be losing a fair amount of money on these blunders, not to mention customer confidence.
