Post by Ferrybridge Flyer »

The scarboro' trains started in the usual weather yesterday.Went to Church Fenton, got a good spot on the platform, and one prat still managed to get in my shot-couldn't believe it,he moved right at the vital second!Oh well, got a decent shot of 45407 at Bolton Percy this morning.Didn't rain till i got in the car either!Trying to find out the return times for BITTERN on saturday-i'm working 12-5,but i'm only a 15 minute drive from the ECML,so hopefully i will catch her.

Yes, they do that to me too.

It's rather changeable here, the sun is shining now but ten minutes ago it was bucketing down. It reminds me of a comment made by a landscape photographer that he didn't feel he'd had a proper day's photography until he'd been soaked to the skin twice. Shall we stick to trains?

I had one 'person' at Minehad the other week walking alongside the loco I was trying to photograph and even though I was 'calling' to him, and he was looking at me, he didn't realise what he was doing! He did eventually get the message and moved away at the last minute.
