Re: Stations and places
Three of the accidents here involved Deltics. I have no box diagram for this location though i do have a lot of S&T plans and locking charts given to me by the locking fitter who relocked the frame after the 1967 'accident'.

I've said it before on here but no apologies for repeating it - he was a disgrace to railwaymen. I heard some while back that he died, I hope he rots in hell.Ferrybridge Flyer wrote:Talk about sobering reading. What a thing to have on your conscience.

Re: Stations and places
After reading the book and chatting to some S&T guys who knew a bit about it i reckon they could have got rid of him long before the incident.

One thing i will say,hq1,with regards to railmen (in my experience anyway) he was an exception rather than the rule. You're a decent lot on the whole.

Yes welcome back did you need a special visa to end up in Swindon? they have some funny ideas there about railways.

Yes, GWR land is a little strange, but the museum is okay I suppose. Only temporary though as I am looking for work anywhere in the UK.TRESTROL wrote:Yes welcome back did you need a special visa to end up in Swindon? they have some funny ideas there about railways.
In the meantime here are two more.
