I was in London yesterday, walking down the Strand.
I noticed a boarded up / bricked up building proclaiming itself to be "Piccadilly Railway Strand Station"
That set me wondering how many disused stations are there on the underground network?
Any ideas?

Re: Dead Underground stations
Glad to see that site mentioned the Kingsway Tunnel. One of my Sunday treats as a lad up Norf London was for my dad to take me for a ride on the tram from Highgate to the Embankment. This, of course, entailed passing through the Kingsway Tunnel to the southern portal which opened under the first arch of Waterloo Bridge. Happy days!

Bet there's some ghosts in the unused tunnels.Be a good location for "Most Haunted",if they could stop screaming long enough to listen!
Bring back Ferrybridge station!
