aah ta for that. That would explain why I have aches in my knees and a cold from waiting around for the arrival at K-X for an extra 27 minutes over booked time. IPTC data shows an arrival time out of the tunnels of 14:14. It looked the business and oh the sound of that whistle under the roof.... and the crowds, many of them not fro mthe enthusiast bracket but brought out by curiosity I guess for the very well marketed spectacle.

Hi guys,

I'm actually in Stevenage this week and wasn't aware that 60163 would be passing through on Saturday. When does she return north? I can't miss another opportunity to see her in action.

TORNADO looked superb through Hensall.Got a great shot. All engine and steam!!Great to see so many people at such a quiet spot.Hope all this publicity gets more people at the preserved railways, and on the trips around the country.Worth getting frozen for!!

Thanks for the heads-up, silver fox. I'll be there on the 16th at one of my old favourite haunts at the north end of Stevenage. When you say "sneaks back", I hope it's not at 3 am or something. Do you, or anyone else, have any idea of the KX departure time? Thanks again.

Just an afterthought - I wonder where she'll be stabled at KX before returning north. I'd just as soon hop down to the Cross to have a look if she's in a viewable spot.

Reported arriving at Old Oak Common about 1830 last night where it will be the last steam engine to stable before the site is taken over for Crossrail.
(It ran earlier than scheduled and I must have missed it by minutes.)

Uksteam http://www.uksteam.info/tours/lem09.htm may have further details nearer the end of the week (click on the blue '-' at the end.At the moment it shows file not found).

Was to be Hither Green, and the loco movements still show this. When the times are on the loco movements it shows an '0'
