All looks rosy,I hope I am still on the list for a B7.

Make that three of us. No rush for it though, I've got a house to renovate and a layout to build and about 4,000 other projects to do before I get around to it.
Further to above, a couple of pics of my test build of the revised self-trimming tender etch. I'm happy that we won't need any further iteration of this (only a couple of minor tweaks required) so hope to be able to make this etch available at the same time as the B7 (with B3-2 to follow shortly after).
Well now it is going to be hard to contain excitement ...
A first set of 20 etches and resin parts are now to hand, following a cunning rendez-vous yesterday with Mr 3279 of this parish. There's also an order now in the queue at the etchers for the first set of tender etches. Also working on a test build for an etched boiler for any who might prefer that, although that might be some time before that's available. Finally (for now), gradually getting my head around the Caprotti arrangement and drawing up some parts to give a reasonable representation in 4mm scale.
So I shall shortly be contacting folks in order of 'expressions of interest' received re the B7

The blue streamliner deputised successfully for the failed modern motive power, as it had done at the previous weekend. Its mileage for the current year has almost been doubled by the two return runs. That modern thing is restricted to local turns and booked for examination on 20th.....
