I'm very pleased to hear that as I've a lurking suspicion in my mind that once upon a time, somewhere, I saw a photo of one in Princess Street Gardens.
Any suggestions as to how I can obtain/see a copy of the same?

according to the RCTS Greenie Part 10A, at the time of its publication in 1988, there was only one known photo of a King Arthur at work when on loan to the LNER and it is shown as fig. 69 (courtesy a W.D. Edwards) - 739 King Leodegrance on a down class D goods at Inveresk in 1943. Not a great pic, but then it was illegal at the time. Good luck with finding more, while you're at it, find one of 2000 hauling the GN directors saloon, please!
