MALLARD in Bridlington

Apparently i got my direction wrong-MALLARD was headed for Scarboro,not the other way round!
Bring back Ferrybridge station!

Can't ever imagine it being repeated. Love to see it go through Sewerby.

Due to condition of track on the branch Hull -Seamer.
There is a ban on loco movements other than for engineering works.
I believe it is in place till 2012 at the earliest.
As for the engineering works another bit of the line gets ripped up and replaced this February using about 50 engineering trains. 4 Sites between Carnaby and Watton.

Mallard definitely passed thro Brid on a date I am unsure of in the mid-80s. It was on a proving run after restoration by the NRM.

It was on a circlular run York-Scarboro-Hull-York.

Cannot supply photographic evidence at Brid but I can show her passing through Cottingham heading for Hull.
