Photo spots between Colton and York.

Post by Ferrybridge Flyer »

More help required!I frequent Colton Junction and i was wondering if there was anywhere a bit further up where the lines converge, that i could take the camera. The only problem with Colton,is you could be taking a shot of a steel train on the Leeds line, and a Grand Central HST will go by on the main line-a bit too far for my zoom!Any help with this would be appreciated.

Earfit lane crossing near Copmanthorpe.
and a bit further out try Bolton Percy yard. Gated off but it is a nature reserve so access is allowed, while still remaining behind the fence. And away from the ever popular Colton Lane bridge.
