Re: NER SNOWPLOUGH 18
Oh, I dunno, Ploughman. Why not offer your services to Network Track or whatever they're calling themselves this week? There's money to be made...
If I ain't here, I'm in Bilston, scoffing decent chips at last!!!!
Re: NER SNOWPLOUGH 18
NER Snowplough 18 is now back in NER livery and will be appearing at the
Stainmore 150th event at Kirkby Stephen over the August Bank Holiday.
If you are attending please say hello and have a look.
It moves from the NYMR on wednesday and is due away for about a week.

The plough end looks like some kind of ship!
Very impressive and well done to all.

Re: NER SNOWPLOUGH 18
One of the team that has helped restore number 18 was at Kirkby Stephen yesterday for the plough to be unloaded.
He caught this shot which is unlikely to be repeated, only pity is they were not the other way round.

Fantastic photo, thanks for sharing Bryan. There's some NER snowplough diagrams on ebay if they're of use to anyone - found it during my regular ebay search for 'North Eastern Railway'
