Re: Location to identify
Reviving this thread, as I know there are a few veterans of the south end of the ECML who read this forum. Tony Wright has posted a number of photos for identification on RMWeb here.
I'll point him to this thread, so anyone who doesn't have an account on RMWeb can post here.

I can certainly add to Mickey's list, jwealleans, though I don't have all the answers, but sorry don't have the time at this moment. Hope to get back to this later.Mickey wrote: ↑Thu May 11, 2017 11:07 am On the above link From top to bottom-

Photo 17. Looks vaguely like the long reverse curve between Redhall & Hatfield on the GN main line?.

Photo 1. Looks like it could be a LMS scene on either the MR or LNWR and in fact the loco is a LNWR loco.

In photo 2 that looks like a GE station. It must be London suburbs and there's surely enough in the picture for someone to identify the location.

Photo 8B in Tony's list is south of Potters Bar, Mutton/Darkes Lane (?) bridge after widening.
I think 8C is the same place.
11A and B are the same bridge to the south of Hatfield.

Re: Locations to identify - new photos added.
I hope no one minds me hi-jacking this thread occasionally, with images of my own.
I have acquired some 'ropey' negatives, some of which are from NE England towards the end of steam - probably 1966.
Some could benefit from a good clean, and I must dig out my PEC-12 solution, but this is an initial scan,
Any thoughts as to where this is.

Re: Locations to identify - new photos added.
Tony Wright has asked me to thank on his behalf those who have posted locations for his photos. I believe these will be published in BRILL in due course.
