I'm starting to like those Mickey Mouse standard 2s pity none of the Swindon built 2-6-0 standard 3s were never saved just for the sake of having one still around.

They looked nice compact little locos. The total number of locos built was 65 at Darlington with the first loco of the class being withdrawn from BR service in 1963 and the last 13 locos of the class being withdrawn from BR service during 1967.
