As an aside, here are some photos of the 7mm 1928 tender for my build of "Knight of the Thistle" using the Hachette Flying Scotsman as a basis:

Ah, Paul, sheer poetry!!

But as regards the Mousa Models etched brass goods wagon, personally I think it's the wrong material for the job, and the etched line surrounding where the strapping should go is a no-no: it reduces the area to be bonded and when it's larger than the item to be soldered over it, well, you can see the result for yourself. All it needs is a short vertical dash which you can extend with a pencil to aid the location. Why make life more complicated, especially if in practice it's a poorer solution?

Been a while but here is a NER Dia G2A 12t Covered Van by 51L. It was an eBay cheap buy then rebuilt and painted.

Latest Update; Chassis now has new RP25 Markits wheels and the main connecting rods fitted, after a brief flirtation with Markits new Stainless steel crank pins I have reverted back to Markits Super Deluxe brass ones which have worked a treat.
